Steps:
- Create 2 branches and create topics there (or have them created by someone else). Let's call them branch1 and branch2.
- Go to branch1 and mark all topics as read
- Go to branch2 and mark all topics as read
- Return back to branch1
AR: All the topics became unread in branch1
ER: The state of other branches doesn't change in regards of read/unread topics.
markAllRead(JCUser forWho, Branch branch)
This method needs to be split into several sub-methods. Also, it looks like it doesn't have tests, at least I couldn't find them.
Refactoring should be done in scope of JC-1213
please check also "mark all as read", recent activity/topic without answer and search ages
Environment
uat.jtalks.org 1.2 Larks, Google Chrome
1) Test1
Steps:
1. Create 2 branches and create topics there ( branch1 and branch2)
2. Go to branch1 and mark all topics as read
3. Go to branch2 and mark all topics as read
4. Return back to branch1
ER: All topics in Branch1 are marked as read.
2) Test2
Steps:
1.Create 2 branches
2.Create topic in each of them
3.Read only topics from branch1
ER: In branch2 topics must be marked as unread.
Was tested also "Mark all as read", recent activity, topic without answer and search ages.
In search result, all topics are marked as unread (whether they have been read or not)http://jira.jtalks.org/browse/JC-955
Test result: It can be closed
refactoring done. Fix all 3 points (i think).
