Sign in: impossible to login if you input one or more spaces before the valid username

Steps to reproduce:
1. On main forum page click on "Sign in"
2. Enter your current username and password in the fields and add one or more spaces before the username
3. Click on "Sign In" button

AR: error message "Invalid username or password"
ER: spaces before and after the username are truncated
