If an error occurred while loading the avatar, the picture is not shows empty value and does not show the error. This problem was found only in Chrome browser.
Note that the problem was found in the "develop" branch, which hasn't yet contained changes of refactoring of avatar uploading.
Steps to reproduce:
1) Open Jcommune in Chrome browser
2) Go to Edit Profile
3) We need to get an exception of avatar uploading in the server side. You can upload very large image for getting error of incorrect image size. So upload very large image.
4) The picture will remain the same and the message on the large size of avatar will not be displayed.
In my opinion, problem is in Chrome browser, so this link may be helpful - http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=773

I couldn't reproduce this bug in Opera, Firefox and Safari too.
Also I checked the different resolutions and formats of uploaded avatars in these browsers, all works good. I didn't notice any shifts of avatar in topics and personal messages.
Mikhail Zaitsev: all works fine in Opera 12.01 Build 1532.
I could not to repeat the bug the Opera. Translating to "Done". If there are problems, I wait "Reopen" task.
